Housing affordability community event

First Home Buyers Australia (FHBA) was last week approached by political party Sustainable Australia to discuss housing affordability concerns. Sustainable Australia, like FHBA, is concerned about housing affordability and it’s effect on society, in particular aspiring first home buyers.

Sustainable Australia are hosting a public housing affordability summit on Sunday 19 March in Sydney titled ‘Housing affordability: an honest debate’ and have invited FHBA co-founder Daniel Cohen to be a keynote speaker alongside former Labor Party leader Mark Latham. A third keynote speaker will also be announced later this month.

FHBA co-founder Daniel Cohen said he was excited about the opportunity to speak publicly on the very important issue. “I am grateful to Sustainable Australia for reaching out. Housing affordability is a very serious issue, and it continues to be ignored by the current Government. They have put housing affordability in the too hard basked for far too long. Their laziness has lead to the worsening of the situation. I will be using the day to raise awareness for the issue as well as encourage innovative way’s the Government can help fix the issue”.

FHBA would like to extend an invite to FHBA clients and FHBA fans to attend the public summit. By attending the day, you will be demonstrating that you are concerned about housing affordability and want to see action.

Tickets are strictly limited.

We hope to see you on the day.
