FHBA partners with Mortgage Australia to launch an Australian first service
We are pleased to announce that today we are launching with Mortgage Australia (our latest partner) a new service dedicated to first home buyers across Australia.
Recently, many of our blog readers (500 to be exact!) completed our national first home buyer survey. One of the questions in the survey asked ‘which service provider do you find the most useful?’ First home buyers answered strongly in favour of Mortgage Brokers, with 38% of first home buyers saying Mortgage Brokers are the most useful people to speak to in relation to purchasing their first home.
What is a Mortgage Broker?
A Mortgage Broker is a qualified professional that consumers can go to for their finance needs (such as home loans). A Mortgage Broker firstly takes the time to understand your circumstances & needs, and then goes and find’s a suitable home loan deal in the market for you (plus assist’s you with the loan application). Mortgage Brokers are paid by the lender upon settlement of the clients’ loan, meaning you won’t be out of pocket for using a Mortgage Broker instead of going to the individual banks yourself.
Australia’s first home loan service dedicated to first home buyers is here
“At FHBA we have always understood that the needs of first home buyers are different” said FHBA co-founder Daniel Cohen. “We understand that the challenges first home buyers face are unique. And we understand that being a first time buyer means you need plenty of guidance and good advice from someone trustworthy. That is why FHBA have partnered up with Mortgage Australia to provide a personal mortgage broking service to assist first home buyers with their finance needs”.
“The experienced Mortgage Australia team are passionate about helping first home buyers everyday” said fellow FHBA co-founder Taj Singh. “When you combine their skills and passion with their utilisation of advanced technology, it’s a pretty powerful service for first home buyers anywhere in Australia”.
Mortgage Australia Managing Director David Ham said Mortgage Australia was looking forward to working with FHBA to provide first home buyers with a great service through their experienced team. “Buying your first home is never easy. It means committing to new priorities and making real sacrifices to meet those priorities. But if you do, the benefits to you over your lifetime will make you eternally grateful to younger self”.
Mr Ham, who is also the author of ‘The 7 Easy Steps to Mortgage Freedom’ added “my personal commitment to you is for our team to show our respect for your efforts by doing everything we can to help you obtain that all important first loan. This means constantly staying on top of ever changing lending policies across over 40 of Australia’s largest banks and lending institutions to ensure we have the latest first home lending solutions to apply to your unique situation.
