Truganina is a rapidly growing residential suburb in Melbourne’s western corridor, located approximately 25–30 km west of Melbourne CBD and within the City of Wyndham and City of Melton local government areas. The suburb is popular with families, first-home buyers and young professionals due to its modern housing estates, expanding infrastructure and relatively convenient access to major roads. Local amenities include Truganina Central, while larger shopping destinations such as Pacific Werribee, Wyndham Village Shopping Centre and Tarneit Central Shopping Centre are also nearby. Education options include Truganina P-9 College, Truganina South Primary School, Garrang Wilam Primary School, Warreen Primary School and Westbourne Grammar School.

Truganina also has numerous parks, playgrounds, walking paths and recreational areas, with the Federation Trail providing cycling and walking opportunities along the southern side of the suburb. Transport is mainly road and bus based, with easy access to the Western Freeway, Princes Freeway and Western Ring Road. Truganina does not currently have its own railway station, with Tarneit, Williams Landing and Hoppers Crossing among the nearby stations, so many residents rely on buses and private vehicles for commuting.

How much is it?

Eligible FHBA first home buyer clients will be entitled to a 50% cash rebate on the total referral fees paid to FHBA (FHBA Pty Limited) from the new home provider you proceed with (should FHBA have a referral agreement with the provider)

The FHBA 50 Rebate will typically range from $2,500 to $12,000 depending on factors such as the property type, property location and property builder.

The rebate will be paid after the full referral fees are received by FHBA from the new homes provider first
