Overview
Located in the heart of Mickleham, just 45 minutes north of the city, something special is beginning to blossom. With over 30 hectares of planned open space to enjoy, your family will have plenty of room to play, relax and grow.
At the heart of the community, you’ll find a planned 22-hectare Botanical Park featuring wetlands, a playground and a breathtaking botanical-themed gardens, all just waiting to be explored. Throughout Botanical there will be hectares of lush greenery, pocket parks, plus a sporting oval and a vast network of walking and cycling trails that connect the whole neighbourhood. One of Botanical’s most stunning landscape features is the abundance of stunning mature river red gum trees peppered throughout the community. The grand stature of these trees will create a beautiful and tranquil environment within Botanical’s parks and open space.
School
When it comes to educating your family, you’ll find education options close by. For your little ones, there are three established primary schools close by: Mickleham Primary, Craigieburn Primary or Aitken Creek Primary, plus four brand new primary schools planned for the area. For the bigger kids, sought-after public and private secondary schools are also close by, such as Hume Anglican Grammar, Craigieburn Secondary College and Kolbe Catholic College. If childcare is what you need, there are plenty of choices convenient to the community.
Shopping
A local shopping village and convenience store are planned for the Botanical community. This means you’ll be just a few minutes’ walk from fresh produce, a laid-back latte and a meeting place where you’ll find yourself making new friends in no time. Established Craigieburn Central and Highlands shopping centres are just a 10 minute drive up the road, whilst the future Mickleham City Centre will be less than a 5 minute drive away.
Transport
At Botanical, you can enjoy the space you need to grow, but also the convenience of being within reach of Melbourne’s city centre. Donnybrook and Craigieburn railway stations are both less than 15 minutes’ drive away, and the train will get you into the CBD in just 45 minutes. If you prefer the comfort of your car, Botanical provides easy access to Mickleham Road, and the Tullarmarine Freeway.
