Cranbourne East is a rapidly growing residential suburb located about 45 km south-east of Melbourne’s Central Business District in the City of Casey local government area. It has become one of Melbourne’s major growth corridors, with a population of around 24,600 residents and continuing development of housing estates and community facilities.

The suburb is known for its family-friendly environment, modern housing estates, and access to schools, parks, and shopping areas. Many young families and first-home buyers move to Cranbourne East because property prices are generally more affordable compared with inner Melbourne suburbs. Large homes with multiple bedrooms are common, reflecting the suburb’s strong appeal to growing families.

Cranbourne East also offers several amenities and recreational facilities. The Casey Complex and Casey RACE (Recreation and Aquatic Centre) provide sports grounds, a gym, and aquatic facilities including a 50-metre swimming pool. The suburb is close to major attractions such as the Royal Botanic Gardens Cranbourne and shopping centres in nearby Cranbourne.

In terms of transport, the area is mainly car-dependent, although buses connect residents to nearby train stations and surrounding suburbs. How much is it?

Eligible FHBA first home buyer clients will be entitled to a 50% cash rebate on the total referral fees paid to FHBA (FHBA Pty Limited) from the new home provider you proceed with (should FHBA have a referral agreement with the provider)

The FHBA 50 Rebate will typically range from $2,500 to $12,000 depending on factors such as the property type, property location and property builder.

The rebate will be paid after the full referral fees are received by FHBA from the new homes provider first

Eligible Properties

To be eligible, the property must be from an FHBA new homes provider partner or approved by FHBA first

Example

A first home buyer couple meet an FHBA Coach and tell the Coach about their desired property. After working out their budget, the Coach show’s them a range of properties from FHBA’s New Homes partners. The QLD couple are interested in a house & land package through an FHBA partnered builder. The builder completes the sale with the client including some custom inclusions. The builder pay’s FHBA an agreed referral fee of $15,000.” “The couple will be entitled to the following government grant and incentives:
