Warner is a suburban area located about 22 kilometers north of Brisbane’s CBD in Queensland, Australia. It has seen significant growth over the past decade due to its strategic location and family-friendly environment. Warner offers a mix of residential housing options, from established homes to newer developments, making it popular among families, young professionals, and retirees seeking a balance between urban accessibility and suburban tranquility.

Warner has a good range of local amenities for its residents. The suburb is known for its spacious parks and recreation areas, with Warner Lakes Park being a standout. This park features walking paths, playgrounds, and picnic areas surrounding a scenic lake, providing a popular spot for families and outdoor enthusiasts. Other recreational amenities include sports facilities, open green spaces, and nearby fitness centers.

For shopping, Warner residents primarily rely on Warner Marketplace, the suburb’s main shopping center. It houses major supermarkets like Woolworths and Aldi, as well as a range of specialty stores, cafes, and takeaway options. For more extensive shopping and retail experiences, residents can head to Strathpine Centre or Westfield North Lakes, both of which are within a short drive from Warner and offer a wider selection of retail outlets, restaurants, and entertainment options, including cinemas.

Education in Warner and its surrounding areas is well-established, with several schools catering to families with school-age children. Bray Park State School, Strathpine West State School, and Holy Spirit Catholic School are popular choices for primary education, while Bray Park State High School is nearby for secondary students. Warner also has easy access to various child care centers and early learning facilities, making it convenient for families with young children.

Transportation in Warner is convenient, particularly for those with private vehicles. The suburb is well-connected via major roads, including South Pine Road and Gympie Road, which provide direct routes to Brisbane, Strathpine, and other nearby suburbs. While Warner doesn’t have its own train station, the nearby stations at Bray Park and Strathpine make commuting by rail accessible. Regular bus services also run through Warner, connecting it to key transit hubs and other parts of Brisbane. This combination of public transport and road access allows for convenient commuting to the city and surrounding areas.
