Park Ridge, located approximately 30 kilometers south of Brisbane’s central business district, is a suburb in the City of Logan, Queensland. Known for its blend of semi-rural charm and emerging urban development, Park Ridge offers residents a balance between spacious living and growing modern amenities.

In recent years, Park Ridge has experienced significant growth, with new housing developments and infrastructure projects enhancing its appeal. The suburb’s population has been steadily increasing, reflecting its rising popularity among families and professionals seeking a suburban lifestyle with convenient access to Brisbane.

Local amenities in Park Ridge are expanding to meet the needs of its growing community. The area features several parks and recreational spaces, providing residents with opportunities for outdoor activities and relaxation. Notably, the development of Tillerman Park Ridge includes plans for a 1-hectare district park, community parklands, and sports facilities, aiming to foster a strong sense of community and promote an active lifestyle.

For shopping needs, residents have access to nearby retail centers. While Park Ridge itself is developing its commercial offerings, neighboring suburbs like Loganholme and Browns Plains provide a variety of shopping options, including supermarkets, specialty stores, and dining establishments. The Logan Hyperdome, one of the largest shopping centers in the region, is within a short drive, offering a comprehensive retail experience.

Education is well-served in Park Ridge, with several schools catering to different educational levels. Park Ridge State School and Park Ridge State High School are prominent public institutions providing primary and secondary education, respectively. Additionally, there are private schooling options in the vicinity, such as St. Philomena School, offering alternative educational choices for families.

Transportation in Park Ridge is primarily car-dependent, with major roads like the Mount Lindesay Highway providing direct routes to Brisbane and other parts of the Logan area. Public transport options are currently limited, with local bus services connecting to larger transit hubs. However, ongoing development plans include improvements to public transportation infrastructure, aiming to enhance connectivity for residents in the future.
