Park Ridge is a rapidly growing residential suburb in the Logan City, located about 35 km south of Brisbane’s CBD. Known for its family-friendly atmosphere, Park Ridge offers a mix of established homes, new housing estates, schools, parks, and local shopping facilities. The suburb has experienced significant population growth due to ongoing residential developments and infrastructure investment, making it a popular choice for first-home buyers and families seeking affordable housing in South East Queensland. According to the 2021 Census, Park Ridge had a population of 8,455 residents with a relatively young median age of 30 years.

Historically a rural area with farming roots, Park Ridge is transitioning into a well-planned urban community. The Logan City Council’s Park Ridge Structure Plan guides future development, including new residential areas, employment precincts, parks, waterways, and community facilities. The suburb is expected to continue growing substantially over the coming decades, supported by new infrastructure and community projects.
