Cafes, restaurants, and takeaway spots line Main Road, offering everything from fresh seafood to international cuisines. For everyday needs, there are convenience stores and small shopping hubs within the suburb, while larger shopping centers like Victoria Point Shopping Centre and Capalaba Park are just a short drive away.

Education in Wellington Point is a strong draw for families. The suburb is home to several highly regarded schools, including Wellington Point State School and Redlands College, which offers private education from primary to secondary levels. Wellington Point State High School provides secondary education and is well-regarded for its programs. There are also numerous childcare centers and early learning facilities in the area.

Transportation in Wellington Point is convenient, with the suburb well-connected by both road and rail. The Wellington Point train station, part of the Cleveland Line, provides regular services to Brisbane’s CBD, making it ideal for commuters. Local bus routes link the suburb to nearby areas, while major roads such as Old Cleveland Road provide easy access for drivers traveling to Brisbane or the surrounding Redlands region.
