Sydney’s seven-figure median house price might seem sky-high, but there are still 81 suburbs where it’s still possible to buy for less than $650,000, new data shows. Usually, market commentary uses the “median” price – or the middle value of all the homes that sold – but lowering this to the bottom quarter figure paints a different picture of Sydney prices.
